Ideas Change The World

This short was actually designed and created for an animation competition on the specific subject of copyright protection.

This can and often is controversial, usually via the Courts over possible infringement or ownership. For many, the theme of copyright is associated with intellectual protection; we wanted a more positive outlook. The brain firing up into many colours is representative of an idea that can spread, develop as well as influence and change the thinking of millions of people. All moments of change in history have after all come from someone not only perceiving the world in which they live differently, but from then acting on that thought, and inspiring others to following suit.

Often when ideas are aired, it will create a process that no one can determine, or stop…for good or for bad.

There must also be a question as to how realistic the concept of copyright can be in the digital age, when so much is open to a global audience at the touch of a mouse? The larger, and faster, the global community gets at communicating with each other, the smaller the world will seem.
