Hello-Welcome
A new horizon dawns on the political front, here in the UK, the US, even in Europe. The only constant, as a wise person once said, is change. A little chaos of course, can frequently facilitate that change. Whether the new tomorrow will be positive or negative only time will reveal. Like ‘they’ say, hope for the best, plan for the worst…and always carry an umbrella…Freeborn John
In 1649 John Lilburne took on and won a legal court case against Oliver Cromwell. This however, was only a small part of Lilburne’s story and the English Civil War. What truly led to that conflict, and how it effects us all is frequently left out of the history books…
Babel
There are poets you know…and those you don’t. Those that speak of ‘rolling hills’ and ‘deep valleys’ and those that tell of people and places you might actually recognise. Patrick Casey is just such a poet. A man whose observations are as relevant today as they were when they were written.
Blame
When the world stops and everything you’ve ever known, also ends-to maintain themselves…people will often show their true colours, even if the shades are dark and foreboding. Yes, we may have friends, maybe even work colleagues we respect, but when the chips are down and the bills need to be paid, only one rule truly applies…survival.
The Unwanted Bowl
A detective story, that you haven’t heard before. An event, that on the surface is clear and cut. Only one man has the tenacity and a commitment to get to the truth, only one man truly cares. The first of the Paul Friday novels in which he investigates the death of an elderly lady…who simply owned…an unwanted bowl.
The Corner Of Your Eye
Regret…is an emotion that all of us experience with time. Decisions made, good and bad, the road taken, words spoken…words that should never have been…but what if the mistake was so great, the guilt so overwhelming, that you hoped to see the offended individual just out of…the corner of your eye…
Paul Whiting-composer
Paul’s music has enhanced each of the projects he has composed for. Whether it be the wild chase scene across the Lancashire moors in The Wolf Hotel or the bright and cheerful tones for the film of Betty And Arthur or even now in the historic documentary telling the story of 1640’s England in Freeborn John. Here Paul talks about his composing and influences on his music.
The Conspiracy Theory
No one changes the world through hope alone. You have to plan, and implement the future, even if the method is so subtle that those effected never see, or even understand, what you have done for them…or even to them. After all, real change is rarely seen at the time…but those that live long enough…learn to recognise it.
We thank you for visiting the website and giving us your time-the only thing you never get twice-and possibly thinking of this exciting world…in a different way.
Best wishes
